I initially did the submenu like this

but thought it might be too much for this one? (actually i had them all in one column on mobile first)
so I tried putting it in another dropdown; but decided that is too many; it will proabably look better like it does above.
excepr that the top menu just saying categories and being pink is vague, and not as obvious about what page you're on, I made it do this on each page:
and just to make the hierarchy slightly different, and so news doesn't look so repeated:
